General
TRIPOPPO INC. reserves the right to update or amend these
Terms at any time prior to you making a reservation. An up-to-date copy of
these Terms is accessible on TRIPOPPO INC. website www.tripoppo.com. The Terms
as listed online when completing a reservation are those that control.
Reservation
You can make a reservation by visiting www.tripoppo.com,
call 1-844-275-6776 or contact your travel agent.
You are responsible for providing and verifying full,
complete and accurate information for all participants and services at the time
of reservation. Under no circumstances is TRIPOPPO INC. liable for any errors
or omissions in the information provided by you to complete the reservation.
Pricing
You may switch to CAD or USD currency by clicking the upper right hand side
button on our website’s home page. For CAD currency, the tour departure cities
will be within Canada. For USD currency, the tour departure cities will be
within USA. Our product(trip and service) pricing is based on per person, and based on two people
sharing a room/cabin, except specific promotion. Our product pricing is subject
to change at any time prior to receipt of full deposit.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. Deposit
amount $450/person/trip unless otherwise as
indicated.
Full payment is required by the final payment date
of each trip or service you reserved. You may find each tours’ final
payment date from the email your agent sent, our website, or on your
invoice.
If final payment has not received by the payment
deadline, your reservation will be cancelled by TRIPOPPO INC. The
deposit and other paid services will also be forfeited.
Reservations that made after the final payment date (within 3 months
prior to departure date) require full payment at the time of
reservation. Your reservation is confirmed when you receive the invoice from TripOppo. The invoice is your confirmation of reservation.
For airfare-inclusive package, Airfare Payment Authorization Form will
be required at the time of booking. Full airfare payment will be charged
3-6 months prior to your departure date or as soon as the tour is
guaranteed departure.
After air ticket issued, if passenger would like
to make any cancellation or changes to the issued flight will result in
airline penalties at passenger’s own expense.
In the event the
price listed, quoted, or confirmed is incorrect due to a system error,
human error or other error, TRIPOPPO INC. reserves the right to correct
the price and guest’s invoice.
Flight Schedule
Most of our tour flight
schedules will have one stopover; and the connection time will be within 5
hours. In case the flight connection time is more than 5 hours or there is more
than one stopover, our agent will reconfirm the flight option with you before
purchasing. If your departure city is different from the tour’s main gateway,
our agent will also contact and provide add-on flight options to you.
DIY Itinerary surcharges
Our air-inclusive package is using group air ticket; any changes
from the scheduled flight itinerary may incur additional costs. Other related arrangements
including but not limited to transfers, accommodation, are at an additional
cost as well.
Single
Supplement Surcharge
To ensure your safety and privacy, a single supplement fee
will apply to all solo/single travelers that would like to have their own
room/cabin during the trip. You may find the detail single supplement cost from
our website’s tour page or flyer.
Gratuities
Complete tipping guidelines are provided with final travel documents and on
each program's tour flyer and brochures. Tipping amounts are based on the tour
itinerary and length and are subject to change. The amount payable for each
tour is shown in the tour descriptions and TRIPOPPO INC. will advise the exact
amount required per person at the time of booking.
Cancellation
By customer
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to TRIPOPPO
INC., and cancellation penalty will be based on the date that the written
cancellation is received.
Land Tours:
1.
60+ days prior to departure: loss of deposit
plus any administration fees

59-46 days prior to departure: 35% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
3.
45-31 days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
4.
30-16 days prior to departure: 75% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
5.
15 days or less prior to departure: 100% of
tour cost
Administration fees: applied travel-visa cost, airline cancellation
fees, insurance and any applicable amendments.
Cruise Tours:
1.
90+ days prior to departure: loss of deposit
plus any administration fees
2.
89-61 days prior to departure: 35% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
3.
60-45 days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
4.
44-30 days prior to departure: 75% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
5.
29-15 days prior to departure: 90% of tour cost
plus any administration fees
6.
15 days or less prior to departure: 100% of
tour cost
Administration fees: applied travel-visa cost, airline cancellation
fees, insurance and any applicable amendments.
Cancellation
By TRIPOPPO
INC.
TRIPOPPO INC. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip departure
for any reason, including but not limited to insufficient demand, strikes,
lockouts, riots, stoppage of labor or Force Majeure Event.
In the event of cancelling by TRIPOPPO INC. prior to
departure for reasons excluding Force Majeure. We can help you to rebook the
same trip with a different departure date, or another similar trip, but there
is no guarantee of availability. If the replacement trip has a price
difference, we will refund or charge you the difference. In case of the rebooking option won’t
work for you, TRIPOPPO INC. only responsibility is to refund the amounts paid
by you for the reservation.
In the event of cancelling by TRIPOPPO INC. prior to
departure or during your trip for conditions under Force Majeure, TRIPOPPO INC.
will provide a future travel/booking credit for the portion of your trip
impacted, except visa cost and any cancellation fees levied by airlines and
other third parties. Future travel/booking credit will be redeemable for travel
with TRIPOPPO INC. for one year from your original trip start date.
A “Force Majeure Event” includes but is not limited to: acts
of God; war; civil commotion; riot; blockade or embargo; fire; explosion;
breakdown; union dispute; earthquake; epidemic, pandemic or other health emergency;
flood; windstorm or other extreme weather event; lack or failure of courses of
supply; passage of any law, order, proclamation, regulation, ordinance, demand,
requisition or requirement or any other act of any government authority, beyond
the reasonable control of the parties, whether or not foreseeable, which would
make it dangerous or not viable for a trip to commence or continue.
In the event of any cancellation, there will be no claim for
damages by either party against the other and we are not responsible for any
incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking
including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or
non-refundable flights.
Refusal of
Carriage:
TRIPOPPO INC. retains the right to remove customers from our
group for reasons that impact on the enjoyment or safety of other tour members,
such as, but not limited to, the physical, medical or mental inability of
customers to undertake the arrangements of the tour, unsocial or unruly
behavior, or the carriage of prohibited substances and materials.
Hotel
Description
Any hotel descriptions (Location, picture and map) are based
on current hotel guides provided by suppliers and contractual agreements. Any
facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs
are included for general information only and may not necessarily reflect
actual routings, location or services. TRIPOPPO INC. has made reasonable
enquiries to verify that the descriptions and details are accurate but does not
warrant that they are.
Travel
Insurance:
Having an extra coverage is always highly recommended, so
you do not need to worry about any emergencies that can happen any time and
anywhere. Please do not hesitate to ask our TRIPOPPO travel agent for your
travel insurance quotation and coverage.
Baggage:
The standard check-in baggage allowance for most airlines is
limited to one piece and must not exceed 20KG and carry-on baggage is limited
to one piece and must not exceed 7KG. Airlines reserve right to change their
baggage allowance at any time prior to your departure date. Please kindly check
the most updated baggage allowance from airlines’ website.
Passport,
Visa, and other travel documents:
A passport with a minimum of six months validity and at
least have one blank passport page is required for customers travelling to all
countries in our program. Non-Canadian or Non-US passport holders may incur
additional visa fees. Visa costs are not included in tour packages unless specific
note.
If guests choose to use TRIPOPPO INC.’s visa services, it is
guest’s solo responsibility for documentation accuracy, passport validity and
dispatch of documents rests with the customer. Any late responses from guests
to provide complete visa required document, guests may be required to pay an
urgent visa processing fee at the specified time.
TRIPOPPO INC. accepts no responsibility for any failure in
this respect. TRIPOPPO INC. does not issue foreign visas. We only submit
passports and application forms for visas to be issued by the relevant
authorities TRIPOPPO INC. cannot
guarantee that any visa will be issued by the relevant authority and accepts no
responsibility if a visa application is refused. Any cancellation fees or other
expenses incurred by the customer due to the refusal of a visa will be entirely
the customer’s liability.
Certain
visa-exempt foreign nationals are required to obtain an eTA prior to departure.
Canadian Passport holders require visas for: Australia, Armenia, Belarus,
Cambodia, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Kenya, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nepal,
Russia, Tanzania, Turkey, Vietnam and Zimbabwe prior to departing Canada.
Airline Seat
Assignment
Airlines and TRIPOPPO INC. reserve the right to change seat
assignments at any time without notice, for any reason. Most airlines offer seats
selecting option with an additional cost after ticket has issued. Some airlines
or fare types do not allow pre-seat selection until departure date’s check-in
time.
Passenger
Agreement
Release from Liability: TRIPOPPO
INC., its
shareholders, directors, officers, employees and affiliates, (collectively “TripOppo”) does not own or operate any entity which is
to or does provide goods or services for your trip including, for example,
ownership or control over hotels or other lodging facilities, airline, vessel,
cruise, boat, bus, van or other transportation companies, local ground
operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions or equipment used
thereon, food service or entertainment providers, etc. All such persons and
entities are independent contractors. Independent contractors may utilize the “TripOppo”
logo on signage or uniforms solely for identification purposes which does not
signify “TripOppo” ownership, management or control. As a result, TRIPOPPO
INC. is not
liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or
entity, or of any other third party. Without limitation, TRIPOPPO
INC. is not
responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay
or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods or services
occasioned by or resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of
government, force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt,
strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any
kind, or the threat thereof, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations,
structural or other defective conditions in hotels or other lodging facilities,
mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or
for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart timely or
safely, diseases and dangers associated with or bites from animals, pests or
insects, marine life or vegetation of any sort, dangers incident to
recreational activities such as swimming, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, rafting,
hiking, walking, bicycling, etc., sanitation problems, food poisoning, lack of
access to or quality of medical care, difficulty in evacuation in case of a
medical or other emergency, illness, epidemics or the threat thereof or for any
other cause beyond the direct control of TRIPOPPO
INC. In
addition, I release TRIPOPPO INC. from its
own negligence and assume all risk thereof.
Assumption of Risk: I am aware that travel such as that
I am undertaking involves hazardous activities, with a risk of illness, injury
or death which may be caused by forces of nature, animals, insects or flora,
the negligence of TRIPOPPO INC., or other
persons and companies known or unknown, or of willful or criminal conduct of
third parties. I am aware that weather conditions may be severe, adverse and/or
unpleasant. I am also aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily
available or accessible during some or all of the time during which I am
participating on the trip. I am also aware that I should not leave my tour
group while traveling; leaving the group before the end of my trip no matter with/without
notice to TRIPOPPON INC. may cause unexpected risk of any kinds. In order to
partake of the enjoyment and excitement of this trip I am willing to accept the
risks and uncertainty involved as being an integral part of my adventure. I
hereby accept and assume full responsibility for any and all risks of illness,
injury or death and the negligence of TRIPOPPO INC. and agree to hold harmless
and release TRIPOPPO INC. from claims of third party negligence. I understand
the physical requirements of the activity in which I will be participating, and
I currently have no known physical, medical or mental condition that would
impair my ability to participate in this tour or my safety in this activity,
and I am willing to assume all risks that may be created, directly or
indirectly, by any such condition. I hereby authorize TRIPOPPO INC. or my local
ground handler or others to arrange for any emergency medical treatment and
hospitalization as may be necessary for me because of participation in this
activity without my further consent.
Customer
Service and Refund Claim: All customer service
issues must be submitted in writing. Please notify us at your earliest
convenience and no more than 15 days following your tour’s return date. Claims
for refund of undelivered services must be accompanied by payment receipt(s)
and local documentation. There will be no refunds for some unused package tour
services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or
missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, unused entrance fees,
and accommodations. Airline flight cancellations and delays for any reason are
not the responsibility of TRIPOPPO INC. Guests may submit their claims directly
to the airline, TRIPOPPO INC. does not guarantee airline response. Complaints
regarding to a hotel's standards or amenities should be addressed directly with
the hotel's management. Refunds are not normally considered by hotels if they
were not given an opportunity to address those complaints locally. Processing
of claims will take up to eight weeks from the date TRIPOPPO INC. receives relevant
documents. Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for
payment, up to the total amount paid, with any remaining balance paid by
cheque. These terms may not be changed by anyone other than an authorized
representative of TRIPOPPO INC. and must be documented in writing. TRIPOPPO
INC. is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local
hotel staff, tour guides, or any other persons not under direct employment of
TRIPOPPO INC.
Photographic
Release: TRIPOPPO INC. may take photographs
or video of its trips and trip participants grant TRIPOPPO INC. permission to
do so and for it to use same for promotional or commercial use without payment
of any compensation
