Today explore Buenos Aires on a half-day tour with a local guide. Wander the cobbled streets of San Telmo and browse its antiques markets, then continue to Plaza de Mayo to see the presidential palace of Casa Rosada. Walk among the tombs of the Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of Eva Peron. From here transfer to La Boca and its well-known ‘Caminito’ district, before moving on to the lesser-known side of the neighbourhood. Balance of the afternoon at leisure.

Today is your free time, you may explore the town on your own. Buenos Aires is a great walking city. No matter where you start out, you will find beautiful architecture and tree-lined streets as you explore various areas. Or you may join the optional excurison to Estancia El Ombu Ranch & Gauch BBQ (US$220/person, Min. 4 Guests). Start your journey from Buenos Aires in the morning with a scenic drive to San Antonio de Areco, the heart of Gaucho culture. Begin at Parroquia San Antonio de Padua in the historic main square, then explore the colonial-era Municipality building. Visit Museo Draghi to see exquisite silversmith pieces, and stop by La Olla de Cobre for renowned chocolates and alfajores. Discover gaucho life at Museo Gauchesco y Parque Criollo Ricardo Guiraldes, and finally, head to Estancia El Ombu de Areco for a tour, horseback ride (or carriage ride), and traditional asado BBQ lunch with gaucho performances. Then return to hotel in the evening.

Today take the flight to Iguassu Falls. As the majestic and awe-inspiring Falls, one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, Iguassu consists of over 275 separate cataracts across a span of two and one-half miles, wider than Victoria Falls and higher than Niagara Falls and more dramatic than both. Upon arrival, a rail car takes you to the top of the Falls on the Upper Circuit, and you will walk to the Lower Circuit where the power of nature surrounds you. Continue along the catwalks to Devil’s Gorge - stand in amazement as you gaze at spectacular “Devil’s Throat” the most magnificent of all of the cataracts. View, photograph and feel the spray of the thundering waters, one of nature’s most impressive achievements and a unique experience for your senses. Stand in awe at the unforgettable panoramic views before crossing the border to the Brazilian side of the Falls, for overnight. On-route we stop over at the massive Itaipu dam for a guided tour.

After breakfast, walk along the winding pathways on the Brazilian side of the majestic and awe-inspiring Falls. Then we visit the Iguaçu Falls National Park in Brazil. The water falls thunderously in virgin forest bright with orchids and serpentine creepers festooning the branches. Above the impact, a perpetual 30m high cloud of mist. The water plunges in 275 falls over a frontage of 2,470m. You may choose the optional Brazilian all-you-can-eat barbecue lunch for (US$45). In the afternoon, we visit Brazil’s most spectacular bird sanctuary and transfer back to the hotel.

After breakfast, take the flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Begin the day with an ascent by a scenic cog railway to the summit of Corcovado Hill. Here, at 2,400 feet above the city stands the 125 foot tall statue of Christ the Redeemer. The Christ statue, that embraces the entire city, is designated as one of the seven "New Wonders of the World". Enjoy panoramic vistas of Rio de Janeiro from the mountain summit.

The rest of the day is free at leisure or join the optional Sugar Loaf Mountain Tour(US$48/p).This unique Rio landmark is located on a small peninsula at the entrance of the Guanabara Bay, forming two steep hills Urca with 220m and the Sugar Loaf with 575m. Join the  not-to-be-missed glass cable car ride that takes you to the top of iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain, symbol of the city, where you'll have the breathtaking 360-degree stunning panorama view of the beaches, Corcovado Mountain, downtown Rio and Guanabara Bay. 

After that, transfer to the hotel.

Embark on a city tour of with its 2,000 years of history. Begin with the colonial centre of the city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its historical buildings surrounding the splendid Plaza Mayor. View the impressive Palace of the Archbishop with its finely carved balcony, the opulent Government Palace, the official residence of the President, and the 16th-century Cathedral of Lima whose first stone was laid by Pizarro. Tonight, you may join the Optional Magic Water and Fountains of Lima (US$48/person). In a lush 19-acre nature reserve on the outskirts of Miraflores, Magic Water and Fountain Show is one of the most popular attractions in the city.

Depart the lodge this morning after an early breakfast. You will be taken from the port to the airport. Departure to Cusco (35 minute flight),  then meet and greet by your tour guide upon arrival in Cusco. In order to avoid altitude sickness, we drive down to the Sacred Inca Valley (2,000m). On-route we visit an indigenous Alpaca and Llama coop-farm. Then take a scenic drive to Pisac Village. There, explore the town and bargain with vendors on the cobblestone streets of the Pisac handicraft market. Enjoy a cultural blast as the entire town has been converted into a street market. Afterward, continue to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

This morning, transfer to the Machu Picchu entrance, then you will have a guided walking tour of the sanctuary. Machu Picchu was built circa 1450 and abandoned only 100 years later. The purpose of this splendid city is still a mystery to modern historians. Enjoy exploring the ancient citadel and marveling at the imposing Temple, the House of the Priest, the Sacred Plaza and the intricately carved rock likely used as a sundial by the ancient Incas. The images of this significant archaeological site will be a long-lasting memory. Afterwards, take the train to Ollantaytambo Station. On the route to Imperial city of Cusco, experience the grandeur of Saqsayhuamán, a fortress complex with colossal stone walls that display the remarkable craftsmanship of the Inca builders. The site’s panoramic views over Cusco and its unique architecture make it an unmissable highlight that reveals the power and ingenuity of the ancient Inca civilization. Overnight in Cusco.

This morning, uncover Cusco, the former Inca capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, blending Incan and Spanish history. Walk the well-crafted Incan roads, starting from the central Plaza, and visit the Colonial Cathedral housing 400+ Cusqueña School paintings and colonial art. Then visit the Temple of the Sun, this significant Incan temple, known as Coricancha in Quechua, was dedicated to Inti, the Sun God, and once adorned with gold panels and precious stones. Explore the intricate stonework and learn about its importance as the center of Incan religious ceremonies, showcasing the civilization’s devotion and architectural mastery.

Today explore the Lake Titicaca waterways and the floating Uros Islands. The unusual 40-plus floating Uros Islands are the most photographed attractions on Lake Titicaca. The Uros people are known for their unique way of life on the lake. They live on artificial islands made of totora reeds, which grow abundantly in Lake Titicaca. These floating islands are built and constantly maintained by adding new layers of reeds. Learn about the way of life of the ancient Aymara people, then Navigation back to the Puno docks. Enjoy your free leisure in the  afternoon. Overnight in Puno.
