The family owned EcoTermales has four different pools ranging in temperature from 91 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, surrounded by the local flora of the forest. Or you may join the optional guided tour of the cloud forest (USD$80/person), where you’ll walk among ancient trees, moss-covered trails, and towering ferns. Keep an eye out for the famous Resplendent Quetzal, a rare and stunning bird that calls this forest home. The day is yours to explore or relax as you wish. Overnight in Monteverde.
